The objective: For my science fair project I am doing an experiment to find out which metals produce the highest voltage.
The materials I used include lead, zinc, copper, nickel, gold, steel, aluminum, carbon, plastic cups, voltmeter, clip leads, orange, milk, tap water, and salt water. The procedure I used is, connecting the clip leads to the metal and voltmeter, sticking the metals in the solution, and reading the voltmeter
The amount of electricity depends on which metals and solutions are being used. Although I thought copper would produce the highest voltage, gold and zinc did.
Since the samples of metals were different sizes, it would be better to get samples the same size for further experimenting.
This project is about testing which metals and solutions produce the highest voltage?
